Close interrelationships between enterprises regarding the production of goods and services and their settlement are characteristic of any national economy. These relationships are most pronounced in complex sectors (fuel and energy, agro-industrial, and similar complexes), where the volume of mutual supplies of goods and services is significant. The study identifies and formalizes the main methods of mutual settlement between contracting enterprises under conditions of varying solvency through the offsetting of their obligations for goods and services. Methods for implementing a mutual settlement matrix for goods and services between contracting enterprises are considered. It is justified that with low solvency, it is advisable to involve a financial intermediary, and the most radical method is equity participation of the creditor enterprise in the assets of the debtor enterprise. It is argued that the application of these methods will help reduce disproportions between sectoral enterprises within national economic complexes.
