Abstract
The article reveals the importance of managing the dynamics of economic development as a key element in the process of economic development in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). It highlights the challenges associated with the lack of management of economic development dynamics. The article argues that the weak investment attractiveness, low innovation activity, and low labor productivity are the result of a lack of targeted management measures by the regional authorities. The study of positive experiences in the innovative development of foreign countries provides an opportunity for their adaptation to the conditions of the DPR. As a result, it is concluded that it is necessary to concentrate efforts on the innovative development of the economy, which, as a result of the synergistic effect, can create conditions for increasing labor productivity and, on this basis, improving the quality and standard of living of the population in the DPR.
