State Management of Socio-Economic Stability of Assets of the Mining Complex of the Russian Federation

Abstract

The transformation of the economic development of countries and regions necessitates the search for new public administration tools to ensure operational sustainability and security. The extractive sector of the economy has become the most vulnerable due to its significance in state budget formation. The paper is concerned with theoretical, practical and methodological aspects concerning the socio-economic sustainability of assets in the Russian Federation's mining complex. The primary sources of information used in the article are official reports from the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, international organizations (International Monetary Fund, World Bank), scientific publications and analytical reviews. The analysis identified approaches to public administration of the socio-economic sustainability of assets in the Russian Federation's mining complex. The research results showed the socio-economic sustainability of assets in the Russian Federation's mining complex.
