This article examines the structural changes occurring in regional economic systems as a result of implementing territorial socio-economic development policies. The research focuses on identifying the key factors influencing these transformations. Particular attention is paid to defining the main directions of structural changes in the sectoral structure of regional economies, such as the development of high-tech sectors, economic diversification, and increasing the competitiveness of regional enterprises. To implement these directions of structural change in the regional sectoral economy, the concept of Advanced Development Territories has been proposed, which represents a comprehensive tool of state policy in the field of structural diversification. Successful implementation of this concept allows for initiating a transition from a resource-based economic model to an innovative one, ensuring long-term socio-economic stability. Based on the conducted analysis, recommendations are proposed for optimizing state policy, aimed at effectively managing structural changes and ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of territories. Tools for assessing the effectiveness of regional policy are proposed, taking into account the impact of structural transformations on socio-economic indicators such as employment levels, population income, and quality of life. The research results can be used to align regional development strategies and enhance the effectiveness of state support for the regional economy.
