Abstract
The research aims to develop recommendations for the structure of the organizational and economic mechanism of a barter trading platform. The theoretical basis of the research is the concept of platforms as hybrid structures, combining market and hierarchical approaches to transaction organization in their activities. A description of the functions of a barter trading platform operator is proposed, as well as a list of organizational and economic tools used to coordinate participant interactions. The necessity of using an internal platform currency is justified. Possible models for organizing settlements between participants are proposed. The main differences between a barter platform and existing trading platforms are presented. Recommendations for possible directions of using a barter platform in trade activities are formulated. The main implementation options for a barter platform are described. Their advantages and disadvantages are shown.
